Caloundra is located at 90 km/56 mi in the north of Brisbane CBD and it is the southernmost resort on the Sunshine Coast. With several beautiful beaches and ideal weather conditions, Caloundra is definitely a great holiday destination.

Anne Street Reef is an exposed reef break that has very reliable surf. It is a popular spot and it is suitable for surfers of all levels. Here you are able to explore the waves with swell sizes from 1 m-1.5 m/3 ft-5 ft and holding up to 3 m/10 ft. The best wind direction is from the west, southwest and the ideal swell direction is from the east, southeast.

In addition, the best tide movement is rising tide and the ideal tide position is mid and high tide. The average water temperature is around 28°C/82.4°F in summer and around 20°C/68°F in winter. Keep in mind that, it is a crowded spot, especially during summer. In summer, the wind blows offshore at 6%, in autumn the wind blows at 19%, in winter at 34% and in spring at 11%.

Last but not least, apart from surfing you can enjoy coastal walks and admire amazing views, sites of historical interest and many attractions, offered in Caloundra. Note: be careful of rocks and localism.

Head northwest on George St toward Burnett Ln. Take the second left onto Ann St. Join Pacific Motorway/M3 via the ramp to Coronation Drive / Toowong. Continue to follow the M3. Take the exit on the right towards Sunshine Coast. Join Boomerang St/M3. Continue to follow the M3. Take the exit toward Metroad 3/Sunshine Coast. With controlled toll road. Enter the Airport Link M7. Toll road. Take exit. Toll road. Continue straight ahead. Slight right to Gympie Rd/A3. Continue on M3 (signs for Sunshine Coast / Nambour). Continue to Bruce Hwy/M1. Take exit Caloundra Road to enter the Caloundra Rd / State Route 6 to Steve Irwin Way / Tourist Drive 24/Caloundra/Landsborough Go through 3 roundabouts. At the roundabout, take the first exit to Nicklin Way / State Route 6. Turn right at Beerburrum St. Turn left at Cooroy St. Turn right onto Ann St
