Giogo Alto’s peak with its 8 km/5 mi snowboard –runs and excellent large slopes represents just the right spot for practicing snowboard-carving. Due to its parabolic skis, giving new perspective to the downhill run, carving snowboard is the new trend among snowboard fans.

The new shape of the board provides with more stability and control and makes much easier and smoother to take the turns. It is quite easy to learn snowboard-carving and any prior experience is not a prerequisite. Lately, a new variation of carving, the Fun Carving has gained space.

The board for the Fun Carving have their particularities. They are shorter and better shaped. Bear in mind that Fun Carving is a very demanding sport and it requires an excellent physical preparation and technique. Stelvio Pass, the highest mountain pass of Europe, is the biggest summer resort in Europe. It opens from May to November and it offers a 12 km/7.5 mi arena, divided in 3 trails where you can enjoy your preferred sport.
