Mount Kato is a well-known ski resort, located one mile south of Mankato, Minnesota. Mankato is fourth largest city in Minnesota and the county seat of Blue Earth County. It is situated along a large bend of the Minnesota River, just at its confluence with the Blue Earth River.

There are 19 trails, 4 of which are tailored for beginners, 8 for intermediate and 7 trails for advanced snowboarders. Be aware that all trails are covered with 100% of snowmaking.

Most of the slopes are gentle and offer the most challenging features. You also find 8 chair lifts, 5 quad and 3 double lifts. Mount Kato provides whatever you need about your activity from a ski school to rental shops.
