Berthoud Pass is located between Idaho Springs and Winter Park and is one of the closest areas in Denver for snowboarding. It belongs to Boulder County and is just an hour away from Denver.

Eldora Mountain Resort is located at 21 mi/33.8 km away from Boulder and 47 mi/75.7 km away from Denver. It is a perfect place for snowboarding. The resort has opened its doors, hosting snowboarding since 1962.
