Almere as a city has a lot to offer to skateboarders. The entire city is like an open skate-park where skateboarders are rolling around. You will find several skate maps and signed – posted routes of various lengths. In the city, the Queen Beatrix Park, lying between Kruidenwijk, Muziekwijk, Stedenwijk and Statesmen District is the perfect place for skate boarding.

The park is beautiful and full of trees and green, located at 4 m / 13 ft below sea level. Another asset of the park is its perfect location, just opposite the Oostvaanders train station. In the park you can also find skate workshops. What makes the park so popular, is the features of the Beatrixpark, in particular.

It consists of a half pipe, flat rails, rails, fun-box, pyramid, 3 bowls, curbs, ledges, a snake run and benches. The place is a skateboarding heaven! The concrete floor is suitable for you to perfect your maneuvers and skateboarding tricks. If you are a skate boarder, you will surely appreciate the skate-park and the entire city.
