BIO

"Tobias Wrobel"

Before I started biking, I played successfully handball for a long time. But somehow I felt that I needed a new challenge. Finally I was introduced to biking by a few kids from my neighborhood.

Further I got my first sponsorships in 2008 and I began being a part in competitions and movies. After my vocational training I was finally able to make the big step to start living my dream in a full time job. By now, I’m riding my bike since 15 years.

INTERVIEW

What are you looking for to accomplish?

I still want to do what I love for many years and of course also with success and no injuries. Also I want to actualize one’s own things in some larger video projects.

What would be your greatest achievement?

There are a lot of things… haha but first I’d like to win some bigger contest and travel the world with my bike.

What kind of difficulties does your sport’s performance involve?

You often have to surpass yourself and take risks.

What makes you feel satisfied when performing your sport?

Freedom in all varieties. Enjoying the nature and the experience you get every time.

Where do you practice your techniques when being alone?

The last years I have been traveling a lot and unfortunately I don’t have my own spot.

But favorites are Amir Kabbanis, Peter Henkes and Patrick Schweikas spots. At the moment I finally build my own compound! :)

To be focused all the time and I try to have fun somehow.

The night before and the minutes before I have to drop in…
