The Vic Falls Canopy Tour offers a network of trails, slides and rope bridge walkways within the canopy of the hardwood forest of the Zambezi gorges.
You get clipped into a harness which is attached to a pulley which then glides along an almost horizontal cable across the gorge, 125m/410ft above the valley floor. This gives you the sensation of flying. It looks tame in comparison to the Foofie slide and Gorge swing, but we promise that this is still a thrilling experience, and requires great courage.
Imagine swinging in a child’s swing in the playground…now imagine a giant swing 95m/310ft long and 120m/393ft high above water…now imagine a 70m/230ft free fall before you begin swinging. Stop imagining and test your courage!
Gorge Swing is suspended across the gorge at a point where the width is 316m/1036ft and 120m/393ft deep. A harness is attached to the jumper and then the jumping ropes, the other end of which is pivoted to the middle of the cable. The jumper leaps off the edge of the gorge, free falling about 70m/230ft before going into a 95m/310ft long pendulum type swing.

Flying Fox, Zip Line & Gorge Swing
The Bridge Slide is mildly adventurous and exciting but friendly for all ages from six years and up – either
alone or with a friend. Beginning from a platform on the Zambian edge, the zipline glides 300m/984ft over the rapids in the Batoka Gorge below offering incomparable views of the Victoria Falls before gently coming to rest on the Zimbabwean side of the bridge.
Step off the Victoria Falls Bridge into the Batoka Gorge over the mighty Zambezi River in an upright position for an 80m/262ft freefall, then become a human pendulum as you swing in a huge arc with the cascading waterfall rumbling by your side.
