Horseback Riding in Noordhoek, False Bay, Western Cape South Africa

False Bay is a body of water characterized by Cape Hangklip and Cape Peninsula, located in the southwest of South Africa. The bay is 30 km/18.7 mi wide, offering a Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and wet damp winters. The east and western shores of the bay are rocky and mountainous with visible peaks rising from the waters, while the northern side comprises a long, curving beach.

Noordhoek is at 7.4 km/4.5 mi away from False Bay and offers breathtaking horseback riding adventure. You have the option to ride while enjoying the breathtaking views of the Chapmans Peak or explore the wetlands of the Noordhoek beach which is 6 km/3.7 mi long of pure white sand.

The horse riding adventures normally last between 1-2 hours and mostly at walking speed except from some occasions where trotting and cantering may be included. Age restriction is between 14 year-old and 65 years-old and a maximum weight of 95 kg/209 lb. Riding experience is not necessary since there are experienced guides to assist you in case of need.

Head south east towards Parade St and turn left onto Strand St. Turn right on Strand St and merge with N2 then merge with De Waal Dr and continue onto Paradise Rd onto M3 and then turn left onto M42 then take the right onto Main Rd and onto False Bay
