Naches is a small agricultural town in Yakima County, located in the Naches Valley, next to the Cascade Mountain and Wenatchee National Forest. White Pass ski resort is a few miles in the west of Naches Town.

White Road Snow Park trail is 7 mi/11 km long (out and back), about four hours hike, with an elevation gain of 480 ft/146 m. It is perfect for beginners that want an easy tour with low ups and downs and it is great to brush up your skills.

Along the way, the mountain views are incredible without having to reach the summit. You can walk through alpine scenery with powder snow, huge trees and frozen streams. The trail is very safe, because it is designed for non-motorized winter sports only. Don’t forget to take a compass and a map with you.

BY CAR FROM Seattle

Drive East on I-90 towards exit 2B. Make an open turn right on US-97 S and take exit 31A-31B to enter US-12 W. Turn right on Naches Ave and take the first right turn on 2nd Str.
BY CAR FROM Naches
39.1 mi / 62.9 km, 47 mins
From 2nd Str towards Alley, turn right on Naches Ave and right again on US-12 W and then left so you remain on the same road leading to the ski resort.

BY TRAIN

From downtown Seattle, not far from the airport, the King Street Train Station is a perfect way to get to Naches. The station offers an enclosed waiting area, with restrooms, ATM and a ticket office. It is located at 303 South Jackson Street.
