Wenatchee is the largest city of Chelan County, located in North Central Washington and lies on the west side of the Columbia River. The city is also known as the Apple Capital of the world, due to the valley's many apple cultivations.

The Enchantment Peak is a famous group of rock basin lakes, located in between the Cashmere Crags of the Stewart Range. The top elevation of the peak is at 8520 ft/2596 m and the prime time to visit the mountain is from July to October.

It is perfect for all skill levels, with no technical difficulties, but a very good physical condition is essential. The trail leading to the Enchantment Peak is 24 mi/38 km (out and back), and you will need between two and three days to hike, climb and get back to your car.

Once you reach the top, you will be amazed with the views of the alpine scenery around you. Enchantment Peak and the Alpine Lakes, is a must go mountain climb in the Cascades, driving you speechless with the surrounding wild nature. Take with you a map, a compass and low temperatures camping gear.
