Christchurch is situated in Canterbury region of the South Island, and is the second largest city of New Zealand. It represents the getaway to Antarctica, while lying next to Pegasus Bay and the Pacific Ocean.

One of the most popular mountain bike sites in Christchurch is Bottle Lake Forest Park, a pine forest of 1000 ha/10 km². It is addressed to riders of all levels and it offers a total of 8 trails you can choose from, depending on your skills and stamina.
