Bukovel is a well-known ski resort, located in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast (province) of western Ukraine. It is also located at only 30 km / 18.6 mi in the west of Yeremca. It is a popular ski resort attracting many people from all over the world.

As winter sets in, our desire to get in touch with the snow environment comes out naturally. So, if you want to enjoy a perfect winter season, you will find an incredible ski resort in Ukraine. Bukovel Ski Resort, which is located almost on the ridge-lines of the Carpathian Mountains, sits at an elevation of 900 m/ 3000 ft high and offers a top elevation of 1370 m / 4449 ft.

With this top elevation, Bukovel Ski Resort has achieved to be the second highest ski resort in Ukraine after Dragobrat. What this resort has to offer is satisfying the needs of all Alpine Skiing enthusiasts and providing them the best features to practice their favorite sport. For the time being, the resort hosts 57 trail, but there are plans for expansion so as the resort would count up to 278 km / 172.7 mi long of trails and 35, in total.

These extra features would  make this resort one of the 20 largest ski resorts in the world. As it is the Ukraine’s only European Class Resort, it offers high speed chair lifts, well-groomed slopes and snowmaking machines. Both experts and novices of skiing can have fun at this place, as it offers a separate slope ideal for beginners and several trails for intermediate and experts of skiing. In addition, you can also have the chance to exercise Alpine Skiing at night from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.

Apart from the excellent snow conditions, the resort offers you and many other amenities such as ski school, rental shops, children’s playground, sauna, fitness club, and numerous hotels and restaurants.
