Breckenridge town is located 9603 ft/2927 m above sea level of the Continental Divide, on the western slope. The town boasts about world class amenities, like whitewater kayaking. Breckenridge is close to many of Colorado’s best rivers for whitewater kayaking, making it a magnificent place to visit.

You can kayak through great canyons and mountain valleys, experiencing one of the best activities near Breckenridge. There are full day, half day trips and half day with lunch trips, that are appropriate for the novices to experts, from the first trip to the hardest thrill seeker trip.

There are rapids of Class II, III and IV. Bring with you shorts or swimsuits, sunglasses and sunblock and some dry clothes.
