London is the capital city of England and the United Kingdom, being situated on the River Thames. The climate here is classified as a temperate oceanic climate, with chilly winters and warm summers. This exciting city is noted as much for its historical buildings, museums, galleries and attractions as for its sports and leisure activities.

As long as you can swim, you can paddle the kayak and admire London’s beauties from the water. There is a number of wonderful routes to choose from, such as the Hampton Court Palace, located on the banks of the River Lugg, which was home of King Henry VIII or paddle through London Zoo and enjoy from really close the wildlife of the Regents Park Zoo on the Regents Canal Tour. All tours are accompanied by a British Canoe Union Instructor, who also provides with historical commentary on the sites you pass.

In addition, paddlers are able to choose a single or double of which both are solid and stable. The whole tour lasts about ninety minutes. Furthermore, it is suitable for novice and advanced kayakers of a reasonable fitness. Best times to go kayaking is either early in the morning or early in the afternoon. Last but not least, it is advisable to bring a rain jacket, a dry change of clothes, sunscreen, drinking water and a hat.
