Mudjimba is an exposed beach break, that offers very consistent surf conditions. Offshore winds blow from the west and the ideal swell direction is from the east. The swell sizes can start from less than 1 m/3 ft. In addition, the spot provides with both left and right hand waves. The average water temperature is around 28°C/82.4°F in summer and around 20°C/68°F in winter. Furthermore, the best tide movement is rising and falling tides and the ideal tide position is all tides.
In summer, the wind blows offshore at 7%, in autumn the wind blows at 14%, in winter at 25% and in spring at 11%. The site is suitable for all surfers and it is a great location for beginners to learn how to explore the waves. Moreover, the tide can not affect the quality of the surf. It is a nice place for surfers who hate beach crowds, as it is usually uncrowded. Last but not least, the beach is patrolled by Mudjimba Surf Life Saving Club. Note: be careful of sharks and rocks.
