Cade's Reef is situated at the south-west side of Antigua. Antigua is one of the two main islands of the country of Antigua and Barbuda in the West Indies. They all belong to Leeward Islands, on the north-east of Caribbean sea and on the west of Atlantic Ocean.
Cade’s Reef provides with an amazing variety of underwater experiences. A large number of dive spots are available to explore them. The rich marine life is the reason why the Underwater Cade’s Reef Antigua Park has been created in a specific area of Cade’s Reef. It includes hundreds of colorful corals, such as sea fans, and many other marine creatures, such as barracuda, moray eels, lobsters, turtles and reef sharks.
Here you will find locations with average depth ranging from 5m/16 ft-35m/114 ft. Offering great visibility , the average water temperature is about 26˚C/77˚F in winter months and 29˚C/84˚F in summer months. The sea conditions in Cade’s Reef are pretty stable. In case weather conditions get worse, there are many suitably sheltered sites, where divers will be safe. Scuba diving in Cade’s Reef may offer great moments to both experienced and beginner divers.
