Performing cross country skiing under the northern light is an out-of common experience under the Nordic sky of the Arctic Circle. Bjorkliden offers a variety of marked trails but also a great opportunity for trips to the nearby area of the snow slops and forests. There are many trails inside the resort from easy to difficult, short or longer ones. You can move among the pistes with 5 lifts.

There are many trails to follow outside the resort too. Try the forest route to Riksgransen resort. A 27 km/16.7 mi groomed route is running from Björkliden via Laktatjakko Mountain Lodge at 1228 m/4028 ft high, Karkevagge and Katterjakk to Riksgransen.

A truly magnificent run with incredible view of the lake and the snowy mountains. Other trails to follow: the trail to Rallarkyrkogarden church and the lake Trollsjön. There are many services in the resort like medical support, kids area, professional instructors, ski lodging, fun park and more.
