If you ask an old man about his life, he'll probably say that his youth has passed by like the wind. If you try to find a way where the wind will pass by instead of your youth, then try windsurf. The adrenaline explosion will keep you young and in flash. Take your board and run at Lagos's beach.

It’s a municipality in the Algarve, in Barlavento region, in Portugal. The smell of Atlantic ocean and the natural beauty of Bensafrim River give this place something unique. Find the status of prince Henry in the Praça Infante Dom Henrique and run back to old centuries. Appreciate your freedom by visiting the ‘Slave Market’, a place where slaves from discovery voyages were sold. The famous Lagos ‘golden church’ of St. Anthony, on the front side of the ‘Slave Market’, is worthy of admiration. The old part of the city is like a castle, circled by the city walls, that were constructed during the 16th century.

Now, come back to this century and let’s windsurf. Join the beach-break and sloppy fun waves. The waves will try to mislead you with their right and left movements. The swell size, starts working at 1-1.5 m / 3-5 ft and holds up to 2 m+ / 6 ft+.  In summer, the wind blows onshore at 2% and the waves swell size is >1.5 ft (>0.5 m) but in good days, the swell size is from 0.5 to 1.3 m (1.5-4 ft). In spring, the waves swell size is from 0.5-2 m (1.5-6.5 ft) and the wind blows onshore at 7%.
