Wenatchee is the largest city of Chelan County, located in North Central Washington and lies on the west side of the Columbia River. The city is also known as the Apple Capital of the world, due to the valley's many apple cultivations.

Mission Ridge Trail is located on the Cascade Mountain, close to Wenatchee Town. It is 26 mi/41.8 km long and has an elevation gain of 4020 ft/1225 m. It requires advanced or intermediate mountain biking skills because it has sweeping turns, smooth switch backs and steep descents.

There are fantastic, panoramic views once you reach the top. The terrain is steep, but after a few miles, you meet with some exciting ridge-top single-tracks that lead you to false summits. Mission Ridge Trail is a great ridge ride where the rider is exposed to the sun throughout most parts of the trail and fantastic view. Don’t forget to take with you plenty of water, energy snacks, a map and a compass.
