Wenatchee is the largest city of Chelan County, located in North Central Washington and lies on the west side of the Columbia River. The city is also known as the Apple Capital of the world, due to the valley's many apple cultivations.

Entiat Summit Road is located at about an hour away from Wenatchee Town, close to Lake Wenatchee and Fish Lake. It is 42 mi/67 km long, (point to point), with a minimal elevation gain, suitable for all skill levels. It is an easy long trail, about two and a half hours drive, leading you through an amazing forest.

The mountain’s high ridge line routes give the driver the opportunity to admire breathtaking views of the Cascade Range and make a relaxing stop at the lookout on Sugarloaf Peak which is at 5814 ft/1772 m high. The road is rocky in some parts with blind turns and narrow segments. Don’t forget to take a map and a compass or a GPS with you.
