Wenatchee is the largest city of Chelan County, located in North Central Washington and lies on the west side of the Columbia River. The city is also known as the Apple Capital of the world, due to the valley's many apple cultivations.

Labyrinth Mountain is located at the eastern of the Cascade Crest, at about 20 mi/32 km in the northwest of Leavenworth Town. The top elevation of the mountain is at 6376 ft/1943 m high and is suitable for climbing from May to November. In order to reach the summit, from FS rd 6700 you go right on FS rd 6704 to the road’s end, where the Minotaur Lake Trail starts and hikes up to the base of the mountain.

Labyrinth Mountain offers a good scrambling experience and a number of ways of reaching the summit, suitable for all skill levels. The mountain summit can be reached in one day, but for the most adventurous climbers, it can be combined with overnight camping in Minotaur or Theseus Lake. If you visit the mountain in early season, you will need an ice axe and crampons.
