Dirtyface Peak is located in the Wenatchee Lake area. The top elevation of the mountain is at 6240 ft/1901 m high and is suitable for climbing all year round, but the best season is from June to July. In order to approach the summit, you hike up trail number 1500, which leads you to the old lookout site.
Dirtyface mountain offers a difficult and exhausting climb with a real scrambling work out, with not many technical difficulties, but a very good physical condition is very important. It is a rewarding climb, because once you reach the top, there are amazing views of Nason Ridge, Fish Lake and Wenatchee Lake.
The mountain summit can be reached in one day, but for the most adventurous climbers, this climb can be combined with overnight camping. If you visit the mountain in early season, you will need an ice axe and crampons.
