Longmont is located northeast of the county seat of Boulder, about 31 mi/49.9 km north-northwest of the Colorado state capitol in Denver. It is a home rule municipality in Boulder, Weld Counties in the U.S. state of Colorado.

It is an easy going community only 16 mi/25.8 km away from Boulder. One of the most popular sports in Boulder is Quad Biking. A great place for Quad Biking is Bunce School Road. It is a 14.2 mi/22.8 km trail with an elevation of 8.308’ to 9.445’ +2.883’/-2.864/2.532 to 2.879 +879/-873 m.

The trail starts at Bunce School Road and is mostly class 2, except half a mile in the middle that is class 4, because it is loose and steep. Take FR202 to FR203, leading to a path in order to get to the crash site. 203 has many loose rocky spots and you have to ride them over.

Trail difficulty is 6/10, mostly moderate, apart from a few obstacles that make it harder. You can follow the Motor Vehicle Use Maps (MVUM) and the signage for the area and ride only on the trails, open to and wider than the Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV). Trail level is regarding physical level, difficult and as for technical level, difficult too.
