Situated on the south bank of the Arkansas River, Little Rock is the capital of Arkansas. Its name was taken from the French explorer Benard de LaHarpe in 1721. It is a rather historic city with many museums, such as the Central High Museum, Children’s Museum and Discovery Museum. It also features awesome restaurants, exciting nightlife and offers many recreational activities to visitors.

There are over  60 parks and recreational areas in the City of Little Rock. Boyle Park counts more than 250 ac / 1.2 km² of urban park that features a small wildlife pond, a playground, picnic tables, parking, restroom, pavilions, paved trails, earthen trails, jogging, hiking and mountain biking trails. Boyle Park has a series of three single track trails about 6 mi/ 9.7 km long for all skill levels, providing some great riding to the mountain bikers.

Loop three is about 1 mi / 1.6 km long and is quite technical with long uphill sections. The trail is tight, rocky and rooty with some steep climbs and it’s pretty challenging to ride it in either direction. Loop three is ideal for advanced riders who like a challenging terrain and want to work up their handling skills. Since it’s connected to the other two loops, you can ride both ways making your own different loops and easily spend 2-3 hours having a blast!
