Bottineau Winter Park is a modest alpine ski area that sits in the Turtle Mountains of north-central North Dakota. It is located only 10 mi (16 km) north of Bottineau.

Bottineau Winter Park or else known as “The Jewel Above the Prairie” is a well-known ski area, nestled in the heart of North Dakota’s Turtle Mountains. Being widely known for its snow quality, the spot attracts many visitors every year. Some of them are snowboarding enthusiasts!

Although, the resort has quite enough snow, the snow-making machines produce snow over 100 % of the area to ensure best possible snow conditions. The resort offers a vertical drop of 250 ft / 76 m and 9 trails covering 40 ac / 0.16 km² of skiable area. All trails are served by five lifts and are tailored to cover all levels of ability.

There are 2 trails for beginners of snowboarding, 3 trails for intermediate snowboarders and for those who are interested in something more extreme, 2 trails are formed especially for them. The resort also offers a terrain park, where snowboarding junkies can reach the pinnacle of success.

Annie’s House is a new facility, designed to accommodate the needs of skiers/snowboarders with both cognitive and physical disabilities. It also provides ski equipment and programs for wounded warriors who returned from Iraq and Afghanistan. Services, like a ski school, rental shops and a cafeteria are available on spot.
