In order to get there, you need either a car or public transportation. The beach is kind of hard to find, as it needs a little walk of 5-15 minutes after parking your vehicle. There are regular surf breaks and along with the regional classic wave quality, make this place a nice option for good surfing sessions.

The wave type is beach-break and waves have good both right and left direction. The bottom of the sea is sandy with rocks. On normal days, the wave length is short up to 50 m/164 ft, which on good days reaches up to 150 m/492 ft. The swell starts working at 1 – 1.5 m/3 – 5 ft and holds up to 2.5+ m/8+ ft.

The place works best on mid and high tides and the best tide movement is falling tides. Not many surfers visit this place, so the beach is empty on weekdays. Similarly, at weekends only few surfers are riding the waves, leaving the place almost for you! Cresmina beach is a nice option, if you are an experienced surfer and live near Lisbon!!
