Terry Peak is a mountain and a well-known ski area in the Black Hills just outside of Lead, South Dakota, U.S. Being the third highest point east of the Rockies, Terry Peak attracts many ski enthusiasts every year.

What’s better than enjoying cold days in a place with really warm hospitality? Famous for its great snow conditions, cozy hotels and restaurants, and a huge variety of the most exciting snow activities, Terry Peak remains an irresistible temptation for all Alpine skiing enthusiasts.

With an elevation of 5900 to over 7000 ft /1798 to 2133 m, Terry Peak has the potential for more snow than almost anywhere else in the region. For your favorite sport, the resort offers 30 trails that suit both beginners and expert skiers. The terrain park includes many features, such as half-pipes, quarter-pipes, fun boxes, jibs, rails, hits, banks, ramps, snowcross, bump terrain and other constructed or natural terrain features. You also find 2 High Speed Quad Chairs, 1 Triple Chair and 1 Surface Lift.

If you are new to the slopes, the resort offers lessons for kids, adults, women-only groups and private lessons. The spot is also endowed with many rental and repair shops. Once the sun goes down, you can spend quality time in the impressive accommodations that are located just a few steps away from the resort.
