Exuma is a region in the Bahamas consisting of more than 360 islands and cays. The Bahamas is a country located in the western Atlantic Ocean, on the north side of Cuba and in the eastern state of Florida. Great Exuma is the largest cay in Exuma region. Its length is about 37.3 km/60 mi. The capital city of this region is George Town.
Runaway Beach is situated on the northeastern side of Great Exuma. It is an interesting kiteboarding spot, since the conditions are ideal for beginners and experts boarders too.
