Lagos is a municipality in the Barlavento region, in Algarve, Portugal. The fresh air comes from the Atlantic ocean and the Bensafrim River. The old part of the city is like a castle, circled by the city walls, that were constructed during the 16th century. On a hill behind the fish market, you will find the church of St. Sebastian with a breathtaking view from up there.

Walk along the cobbled street at the back of Praça Infante Dom Henrique square, where you can find the status of prince Henry, and you will come to Lagos ‘golden church’ of St. Anthony. It was rebuilt in 1769.

The entrance of this church is through the museum. In the opposite side you will find the place, where the slaves were sold after the voyages, the ‘Slave Market’.

If you try paragliding in Lagos, it’s sure that you will become the slave of the panoramic view. Feel the fresh air, breath and let the clouds make a veil of emotions for you.
